Dr. Okey Anueyiagu
Founder & Chairman

Dr. Okey Anueyiagu was born in Kano, Nigeria. He graduated, with honours, from the prestigious University of Nigeria, NSUKKA, studied and earned post graduate degrees in Political Science and Economics from the University of Rochester, New York and Fordham University, New York. He was a pioneer staff member of the old Anambra State University of Technology.

Dr. Okey Anueyiagu, a teacher, an entrepreneur, a philanthropist and activist, art collector and a humanist, has distinguished himself in various endeavours of life. He has for over three decades promoted various ventures in Oil and Gas, Agriculture, Telecommunications, Construction, Manufacturing and Industrialization; and has sponsored the promotion of art and culture across continents.

Dr. Okey Anueyiagu has vast experience in Industrial management and manpower development and coordination.

Hadiza Anueyiagu

Hadiza Anueyiagu holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from King College Bristol, USA. She also studied and obtained a Doctor of Jurisprudence (JD) degree from Hofstra University School of Law, New York, USA.
She attended the Nigerian Law School and was called to The Nigerian Bar in 1990. She has worked in several Law Firms and has acted as the Legal Adviser and served on the Board of various companies under the Group.

Tochi Anueyiagu

Tochi Anueyiagu has a vast academic and social experiences spanning over several cultural and inter-disciplinary zones around the world. She has attended and excelled in many prestigious academic institutions in Africa, Europe and America. She attended and obtained undergraduate certificates and degrees from the famous La Sorbonne University in Paris, France and Fordham University, New York, USA. She also obtained a Doctor of Jurisprudence (JD) degree in Law from the prestigious Fordham University School of Law, New York, USA.

Tochi has worked with Samuelson-Glushko Law Firm, New York, Lincoln Square Legal Services New York, City of Atlanta Law Department, Atlanta USA and New York Supreme Court of Appeals, New York, USA. She serves as a non executive member on the Board.

Chris Obuekwe

Chris Obuekwe holds an honours degree in Sociology and Anthropology from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. He has over 30 years career experience. He worked as a Manpower Development, Management and Public Relations Executive before joining POINTEC GROUP in 1994, and rose to the position of General Manager, Chris Obuekwe is the Project Director of Brown Brommel Refineries.

Prof. Raphael N. Oranu

Prof. Raphael N. Oranu holds a Doctor of Philosophy Degree (Ph.D.) from the Iowa State University in Industrial Technical Education with specialization in Mechanical Technology. In the many years he spent at the University of Nigeria Nsukka, he supervised twenty five Ph.D. graduates and many more master’s degree graduates.

Prof. Oranu, apart from his numerous research studies, was a consultant to both States and Federal Government of Nigeria in Vocational Technical Education.

Prof. Oranu served as Head of Department, Associate Dean of School of postgraduate studies, Director of the Institute of Education, Dean of students Affairs amongst other positions before his retirement in 2008.

Emeka Okoye

Mr. Chukwuemeka Okoye attended Mary Knoll College Ogoja in Cross River State Nigeria. He worked in different capacities in various companies namely Nigerian Chemical Services Ltd, Specomill Textile Ltd and Emoky Global Enterprises before joining Meks Diamond Investment Ltd as an Executive Director. Mr. Okoye is the Liaison officer of Dr. Okey Anueyiagu Foundation.

  • They access and approve the strategy, plans and grants.

The direction of Dr. Okey Anueyiagu Foundation informs our change to a philanthropic organization with a clear vision and strategic framework. Our Mission and Objective is to improve Education in Nigeria, and this will determine all the Foundation’s work. We also develop complimentary activities in health, environment and economic empowerment to help improve the lives of poor people in the community.

Dr. Okey Anueyiagu Foundation looks forward to working with various individuals and stakeholders towards the common goal of better education and healthcare delivery for the less privileged within and outside our communities.
